Die Programme Making and Special Events – Gruppe der European Broadcasting Union (EBU PMSE Group) sammelt aktuell Daten zur Erstellung eines ausführlichen Berichts zur Nutzung und Bedarfen von Audio PMSE (drahtlose Mikrofone und IEMs).  

Dieser Bericht wird in Vorbereitung zur nächsten Weltfunkkonferenz 2027 (WRC) erstellt und hat eine große Relevanz zur Argumentation und Darlegung der Notwendigkeit der Frequenzen für den Medien- und Kulturbereich. 

Die englischsprachigen Umfrage nimmt nur 5 Minuten Ihrer wertvollen Zeit in Anspruch.

Warum ist eine Teilnahme an der Umfrage wichtig: 

In Deutschland beanspruchen vor allem Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben und die Bundeswehr die Nutzung an dem Spektrum. Auf europäischer Ebene haben ebenso Mobilfunkunternehmen ein großes Interesse an dem Spektrum.

Dear colleagues, 

The EBU PMSE group is considering a new study of spectrum use for audio PMSE.   

The purpose of the study is to provide quantified factual evidence for the PMSE spectrum requirements, in particular with regard to the future use of the UHF frequency band 470-694 MHz. 

An example of such a study is a report by SRF on spectrum requirements for audio PMSE in Switzerland. 

The new EBU study would have a wider geographical scope including multiple countries in Europe and possibly beyond.  

To establish the viability of the study it was decided to first identify the potential sources of data about spectrum use.  

This will be done by means of an online survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VGQCQNK.  

The survey seeks to identify potential contributors who would be able to supply data on frequency planning and coordination for audio PMSE at events (e.g. sports, concerts, festivals, political events) and/or data on daily spectrum use (e.g. in broadcast productions or live performance venues such as theatres). 

The data will only be used for numerical and statistical analysis and will not be made public. Only the aggregated results will be included in the study report.  

If you are in the position to provide the required data please respond to the questionnaire yourself. 

We are trying to reach as many possible sources as possible, including for example broadcast productions, sports events, cultural events (festivals, theatres), tradeshows, political events, regulators, industry bodies of other PMSE users. Therefore, we kindly ask you to forward the survey to the appropriate contacts inside as well as outside your organisation.
